Hi all, I've been lurking and packing and unpacking and decorating and crying and fighting with loan officers and yelling at the kids for walking on new white carpet (snort, i need to forget about it lol) and trying to plan a vacation to disney and the gulf for 2 weeks....oh and working full time as a pediatric nurse.
I need valium. I've enjoyed lurking in this part of the forum, esp the AI threads and the reality tv threads.
This house means the WORLD to us, we have lived in the same house since we were married over 18 yrs ago...tiny house in not so good a nieghborhood. (it was good, but turned bad over the years)
Its amazing to walk in and smell that new home smell
Our credit suffered for years due to an injury I had that kept me off work during a particularily hard time in our financial lives. We ended up in a ton of debt that took years to pay off. We finally paid off over 50k in debt a year ago, hence being able to buy the house. However our credit STUNK. we had scores in the very low 500's, i was able to learn thru creditboards.com how to fix that, and soon had our scores into the 700's with prime interest rates being offered like candy on halloween. Anyone having any problems with credit...go visit the site, its all free, just good people like here offering sound advise and inspiration.
Anyway...im busting at the seams to share, and since i dont have a lot of family, or friends in my new area, i thought i would share it with my disney famile!!!!!!

Sounds like your new house is wonderful, and by what I have read in your post, you deserve it! Can't wait to see the pictures!
