Sunday May 29: Day 4
So, on this day we will be waking up around 7ish again in order to make it to the bus stop around 8-8:15 because we are heading to Epcot! Epcot is our favorite park. We could spend two or three days just in this park exploring everything. It is open from 9am-9pm this day.
We hope to be to the park by 8:30 and wait for the gates to open. Let me back track just a litttel here, last year we were at Disney over easter, which was around spring break time as well. So there were tons of EMHs. This time not as much. But anyways, last year the let people in about a half an hour earlier than the EMH. We got to ride Soarin' about 5 times in a row then ran over to Test Track before the park even opened. It was great! I know we probably won't be that lucky this year, but hey I can always hope.
Ok, back to where I was...oh yes, Rope Drop at Epcot. When the rope does drop, we will head to Soarin' first and ride it a few times then grab a fastpass for it as well. We then will head over to Test Track. If the stand by line has a long wait then we will wait in the single rider line. We do not care if we ride this ride together. It would be nice, but we just want to ride it and do not care who it is with. We always end up close to each other anyways. After a ride or two on Test Track, we will probably ride Spaceship Earth. I don't know what it is about this ride, but we just feel like it is a must do since it is in the big ball. We will then probably head back to the Land building and ride Living with the Land. This ride always amazes me...the vegetables and fruits are amazing! We will eat lunch arond 11 again. I am trying to decide between Sunshine Seasons or Tangerine Cafe. I guess it depends on what type of mood we are in.
After lunch, we will start the World Showcase. This is our favorite part. Last year we did not really have a lot of time to search each country. Plus, there were so many people that we couldn't really get the feel of it. So, this year we are dedicated a whole afternoon to WS. We always start on the Canada sde and work our way around counterclockwise. I told Brandon that I wanted to try to see some of the performers throughout the WS as well this year and he said that would be great! I also want to stop and get pictures with some of the characters.
Now, when the afternoon heat starts to affect us we may do one of four options...first, we may just go back to the resort for a few hours..second, we may go to Downtown Disney for a few hours...Third, we may explore The Seas with Nemo and friends and the aquarium...or fourth, we may explore Innoventions. Last year we briefly walked through this building and did not really check anything out. Honestly, I though the building and the things in it were for kids...but the more research I did the more I realized it is for people of all ages. So we are going to have to check it out.
Whatever we choose, we have to be back in France by 4:45 for our 5:00 ADR at Chefs de France. This is a restaurant I choose, mostly because of the french onion soup. I also though it would be a different dining experience so we might as well try it. I am hoping to see Remy while I am there because I just think he is soo cute plus I am a chef and have a soft spot for his movie. After dinner, we will just wander around Epcot doing anything we did not do at lunch and ride a few rides if possible. Around 8:30 we are goingt o grab our snacks and a seat for Illuminations. I think last year we sat somewhere near England, but I cannot remember. After Illuminations, we will make our way our of the park. If we are feeling adventurous, we may head to MK for their EMH, but if we are tired we may just head to bed.
Up Next...Day 5..and the park is...
