Just got engaged over the weekend  and we leave for our first trip to Disneyland late on Wednesday for 5 days!! I would love ideas on how to celebrate or the things we should not miss doing together.

We are staying off site so I have created my own in room celebration. We have party tickets for Friday and already eating at Carthay, Wine Country Trattoria, Blue Bayou, and Big Thunder Ranch. Fiance (love saying that) is happy that we were not getting fancy this trip so no Napa Rose. Also already have photopass+.

Any suggestions welcome!! Thanks so much!

Well.....being adults, I would
hope that you could figure that sort of thing out fairly reasonably..... ;)

Since you already have a reservation at Blue Bayou, try asking for a seat next to the water. They might make you wait a little bit, but it might be worth the wait. And for Cathay, you can try to get a reservation during Disneyland Firework time. There is a balcony there that you can step out onto to watch them.

If you like Storybook, tell a CM that you just got engaged and ask if you can have your own boat. Not sure if they will do this, but I did see a couple in their own boat once and the CM said that this was for a proposal.

HTH, Congratulations!

First... Congratulations!

Ask for Just Engaged buttons at the ticket booth (if you are purchasing your tickets there), City Hall in Disneyland, or the Chamber of Commerce in California Adventure. Wear them during your trip and you will get tons of Congratulations from CMs. CMs also love to make magic happen, so I'm sure you'll get lots of wonderful surprises if they know you were just engaged!

Have a wonderful trip!

Great tips Kris! Fireworks from Cathay sounds perfect! I will have to ask about the private boat trip as well :worship:

Thanks princesshalo22! I didn't realize there were Just Engaged pins-- he will be excited by those. We went a few years ago to Disney world to celebrate our birthdays and fiancé loved the extra attention from the birthday pin especially from Ariel! :rotfl2:

A few more hours and we are off! :cool1:
