Been having a clear out and came across my first holiday package booking for DLP March 2004, 2 adults and 2 children with Kids Go Free and Extra Day & Night Free, staying 3 nights/4 days @ Hotel Cheyenne, flying from Bristol wiht BA, VEA shuttle included.
Optional extras Character Breakfast and Character Tea Party prepaid - Total £750.69.
Compared to our trip this year Flights with Flybe from Cardiff priced up at just over £600.00 although I booked them through Airmiles - phew !
Package booked direct with Disney 4 nights/5 days @ Hotel Cheyenne 3 adults and 1 child with Kids Go Free and Extra Day and night free £ 499.00.
RS Transports shared shuttle £120, it's cheaper for us than VEA.
Total so far without even thinking about any meals £ 1,219.00
I daren't tell OH how much this trip would've cost.
At these prices I honestly think this will be our last trip for a while, our 2006 trip staying at NPB Admiral's Floor for 5 nights 6 days travel with Eurostar, included Buffallo Bill's show, 2 mornings character breakfasts, tickets to Sea Life (although we never got there) and Lucky Nugget Buffet and we got the VIP breakfast at NPB and other little perks and it cost just under £1200.00.
I think having both my 2007 trips paid for by Tesco Clubcard through Leger, and I suppose my eldest moving into the adult category I just hadn't realised how expensive it is.
or does everyone else think it's a reasonable increase/ difference bearing in mind the 5 years since our first visit ?
