For all of you who have been complaining about the lack of offers for WDW. I think it paid off. I was just emailed a survey. Most of the questions were about the offers and the reward points. I can only think it is response to the many of you who have called or emailed to complain. My answers were not at all positive. I hope this helps to get some more of the offers originally promised. just thought some of you would like to know.

 :wave2: princess: princess:

I got one as well.... and my answers were not all positive. I will be curious to see how many of these were actually sent out. I posted on the community board and there have only been a few replies.

I got one too...filled it out honestly. I am pleased with Disney Visa so far except for the vacation discounts. I did put in that there I would like to see discounts available for WDW resorts

Hi!
Yeah I also, got one E-mail survey. Most of my answers were a little negative with a sorry for saying the truth, but Universal Studios Credit Card is better than Disney CC. The proof is that I got to universal studios more than Disney World. Actually I’m tired of going to USF, but I have no other choice. I cannot resist their promotions. Who can resist the buy 4 get one free ticket with the USF credit card last year 2004 offer? Who can forget a free movie screening if they (USF master card) are so organized that they will call your home to tell you that a free movie opportunity is posted in their website. And what about the Disney rewards that expires so soon that I had to exchange them for Disney dollars so the reward points will never expire. I hope that this survey wakes up the Disney CC staff and that Disney CC will be able to offer the same or better ticket offers than the USF master card! I am happy with both my CC, but I have to say the truth even with a sorry for that! I also, want to go to Disney World! Wake up Disney CC! :chat:

I did the survey. On the part where you could actually type something in I complained about the double points for certain categories - and then merchants that are in those categories choosing "other" as their designation instead of choosing actual category - meaning we don't get our double points. I even had a charge for a Disney dining deposit go thru the other day and it was categorized as something like "other services" which is not on the double points list!

My first thought was the new owners - Chase - is doing research to see if it is worth it to continue the Disney affiliation - or justify to Disney the continued affiliation. Or Disney is doing the research for the same reasons.

I completed it today, too. Although we use this as our primary card for purchases, groceries, gas, pretty much everything (and pay it off every month)... there were many "perks" noted in the survey that I had never heard of... such as free movie sceenings, etc. Is this a current benefit, or just part of the survey?
Also, as a person who has a good deal of experience administering surveys, it seemed clear that they wanted us to rate the "Disney rewards" over the "no annual fee."
Although we love the Disney rewards, I like to no annual fee better... I worry that they are hoping to add an annual fee for the "benefit" of gaining Disney rewards. :confused3

I also got the survey & filled it out along with the previous posters, in the not as positive way. I stated the lack of discounts and the double points that are all over the place in regards to the amount having to be spent. Guess we will have to wait & see if we get anywhere.

I didn't get one, but I did want to post that I saw a commercial for the Disney Visa Card today... I'm not sure if it's new or not, I just caught a little bit of it, and I was at the gym so I had no sound (my walkman was set to a different tv). It showed the card, Cinderella's castle with fireworks going off, and then the card again with the website addy to apply.
I've never seen it, not that that means it's new. :p

We got a survey too! And yes, DeanDoug, the free movie screenings are something you can check out on the website. Sometimes it says there are no current offers, but we did get free tickets to the Incredibles before it came out, and some got tickets to the Heffalump movie recently.

I also received this survey. I completed it in the same manner as many of you. I don't think that any of us who complained got this survey going. I think it just because Chase just aquired BankOne and they are just checking out the market to see if the Disney Visa is a product they can improve on, and the answer is "YES". In my opinon BankOne did a horrible job of making any offers in general for this card. I have had it for awhile now and have had NONE, NADA, ZILTCH, NO offers for any vacation deal made to me and this is the main reason I got the thing......:(

I just did mine. I complained alot too. I have never received any kind of offers for double points. Not even the one's where you have to spen a certain amount of money. I wasn't aware of the movie screenings either however, my boy won't sit through a movie yet so that doesn't benefit our family. I complained about newbies getting the $50 bonus while it takes me almost all year to earn $50.

If that is the case, I would certainly dump it immediately. It's already the highest interest rate one I have coupled with their two-cycle billing, etc... if they added on an annual fee, it would not be worth it at all - Unless they are going to start doing dollar for dollar rewards - I *might* consider it then but I doubt it.

The movie screenings I've seen. It's the discount on Park Tickets listed that I haven't seen (unless they are talking about tours, etc...).

I took the survey yesterday.

I am so glad you mentioned that in your survey! This issue is a big complaint of mine! Thanks!

i did the survey also. If there is a discount on park tickets using the disney visa i would like to know what it is. i just purchased tickets using the disney visa and didn't receive a discount.

I told them in my survey that a 10% discount on park tickets would be a good perk for the card. I don't think that is an existing benefit, but it would be a nice one. I certainly wouldn't pay an annual fee for the card either.

Just completed mine also. Had not heard of 1/2 the things they listed as perks. Told them I thought card holders would be interested in discounted park tickets, rooms etc... Interesting to see what happens.....Cindy

I recently responded to the Disney survey for the Visa card. I responded truthfully that i liked the rewards program but that i thought more should be offered to card holders in the way of vacation discounts and so forth. I hope if plenty of us respond we will see more discounts offered. Here's hoping:) :wave2: :cheer2:

I got the card when it first came out, and I don't remember any incentives or rewards other than getting "charter cardmember" stamped in the corner. I would LOVE to be given $50 in reward points for joining! How about 50 "thank you" points for trusting in the Disney name enough to switch over to their Visa card from the beginning?

Kellypops - I'm not sure if you are married or not, but you can get an account in each of your names. My husband was a charter cardmember, and I was a secondary cardholder on his account. When they came out with the $50 bonus for new cardmembers, I applied for an account in my name. I did get the bonus, even though I already had a card in my name, but on my husbands account. I was pretty happy with that!

I agree with everyone else about the annual fee. I would drop the card like a hot potato if they started that!

Someone mentioned earlier about the double rewards. Do they still do that? I couldn't find it on the website. I know that we did get double rewards on our Disney stay last February (2004). Can anyone point me to the list of places you get double rewards?

Thanks
