just decided to go- help!

Hi there! DH and I are taking our DD (6) in a few weeks: Dec 12-18. We've just decided to take her as a late b'day present (it will be a total surprise!!) We went last year the 2nd week in Dec and had an absolutely wonderful time.
Problem: I am a planning hog- I usually take a passporter to keep reciepts, have every meal planned, character breakfasts, etc. I can't do that this time- tons going on- not the least of we have a new 4-month old! (She won't be coming- staying at grandma's)

Are there any discounts for late resort bookings? How late to you have to be to get a discount? Any other suggestions? We'll be doing MVMCP so I can plan for that at least...

Other than that we're going to try and play it by ear... but I'm so nervous about it!

Hi there and welcome to the DIS! I am not sure, but think that most of the discounts for your time frame have come and gone...however, the Swan and Dolphin are offering some terrific discounts right now, you may want to call and see if they have your dates available.

I was able to change to ADR's for Christmas week this morning...one at the Plaza Restaurant in MK and O'hana's for a character breakfast, so don't give up on getting some last minute ADR's.
