How's the water temperatures in October? Will we be comfortable snorkeling, swimming, etc.? Do you still need to beware of sunburns? We are thinking about the Eastern cruise.

I have gone once in October, and I thought the water temps to me where ok for swimming in snorkeling.

Yes, you still have to worry about getting a sunburn. In fact i got the worst sunburn I have ever had on that October trip.

We went on a 3-day in October.
Perfect temps!
Water was great in pools, in Nassau, and on CC.
Bring your sunscreen!

Twice in mid-Oct. & once in the end/beg. of Nov.

All times the water was beautiful & the sun gave us a dark tan. Wear that sunscreen!

We did the Western last October and we are doing the Eastern this October. We had great weather, water temperature was fine, and you most certainly will need that sun screen!

I've never been in October, but I wanted to reiterate...

WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN!!!!!

We went in Dec 2000, and I received on of the worst burns that I have ever had! I was litterally the colour of a tomato and I had sunscreen on, I just didn't apply enough of it I guess.

I can be deceiving when it's not 30 C, and a lot of people wont wear sunscreen. If I can get a burn, with sunscreen, in Dec, the weather will certainly be warm enough in October!!!

I was hoping October would still be warm enough to enjoy the water activities

Thanks!!
