How are DVC guides compensated? Do they make a commision on a per point basis or blocks of points 160, 200, 300 etc.?

Our guide worked very hard when we bought in but it made me wonder if they meet with potential DVC purchasers that don't buy in are they still compensated for thier time?

They are paid a salary and bonus based on performance. They also have various quotas that must be met.
