just curious...where have you had best and worst bus service?

Best bus service : POFQ

We don't seem to have the luck at AKL that others have had. In 2001 the bus service at AKL was good with the exception of Downtown Disney and Typhoon Lagoon. This past summer, the bus service was fair, at best. We waited and waited, sometimes 25-30 minutes for a bus to MK or Epcot. Meanwhile, 2 or 3 buses would come for AK. While waiting for a bus back to AKL from AK near closing time, we waited in a long line for 35 minutes for a bus. 4 buses going to Epcot came in that time. All the people in the line were going to hijack the next bus that came by! We ended up driving to MGM because the bus came by and didn't stop. It just went by the bus station and out the resort gate. I will say that the bus from MK to AKL was timely. Maybe it was just a bad week for them. We still had a great trip.

I broke mine down differently. We never had problems getting to and from the parks, but resort-to-resort is a different matter. However one Saturday night while leaving MK after FITS/Spectro. we noticed that the All Stars bus stops were PACKED. We were at CSR and our line was empty and our bus came immediately. I took a picture of all the poor souls waiting for their bus at the AS stop. I got several dirty looks.....

ASMO - Stayed 3 nights, no long waits, buses crowded.
ASMU - Stayed 1 night, no long waits, buses crowded.
Coronado - Stayed 2x, total 7 nights - EXCELLENT.
Wildnerness Lodge Villas - 5 nights - EXCELLENT.
Dolphin - 5 nights - EXCELLENT.

Poly to VWL after late dinner at O'Hana- took an hour in pouring rain because we had to go to DTD first - the boat to WL was closed for night - ???

Coronado to AKL for 6:00 pm PS at BOMA - Our plan was to take the LAST Ak bus to AK, then hop an AKL bus to the resort. The bus driver took pity on us and since we were the only one on the bus, took us directly to AKL! "FREE TAXI".
