Well, like most NoVA residents we are tied to the Federal government. DH is a senior network architect for a major consulting company assigned to the VA. I'm a Six Sigma Black Belt, and I work for one of the top 5 defense contractors.

I am a technology manager for a major bank. My focus is on application development, especially web-based. I cringe every time I use the dvcmember.com web site. I can't think how online banking customers would react if our site were as troublesome as Disney's.

Umm, yeah. I hear ya. Think they should can the fancy balderdash and use something that actually works. What good are pretty bells and whistles when it makes the whole thing glitchy. I'd prefer functionality and content over eye-candy any day. I always go away from the Disney websites frustrated, and I consider myself to be a web-savvy user.

Hmm, I guess I passed this one by when it was first making the rounds....

While my title is somewhat vague, I'm essentially the chief strategist for sales, marketing and product development for a large health insurance company and my wife, a former professional and wonderful SAHM, is the executive director for two retirement communities.
