Just curious...was anyone else a little disapointed with Randy?

i think it is important to get both sides. weddings are special days and many of us do not wish to have more than 1 so we all want to get it right. this is especially true with photos as these are important as they remind you of the little things that slip your mind.

we have heard so many wonderful reports of randy that i wonder if we have all been wearing rose tinted glasses when it comes to him. I completely believe that he has produced some fantastic photos (i am a big fan of lynn's photos) and that many are happy with his shots. Unfortunately he is only human and everyone can make mistakes. I think hearing the bad stuff as well will help everyone make better choices.

sorry that you didn't get the photos you wanted but i am sure that there are many people you might have helped becuase you spoke up

I agree completely. I have only had my e-pics so far and I'm super pleased with them. I hope that the wedding pics will be just as good.
I will say that communication with Randy and Linda has been frustrating to say the least. I'm sure that's just because they're sooooo busy.... but it is annoying. I wish they would get a secretary.

For those of us that are still in the planning stages, it is SO IMPORTANT to hear both sides! Thank you for being brave and posting againts the majority, I want to hear all opinons before I make any decisions. It is nice to hear that so many people are pleased with his work, but lets be honest, no one is perfect, so lets not be all one sided.

I realy appreciate honest reviews of vendors, the good the bad and the ugly. Let it all out!

I would go with any photographer over DPS.... I have head horror stories about them from more than one person on here.
