Just Curious - RE: Cinderella's Royal Table Pricing

I was curious about something and hoped that someone could clear it up for me. We booked CRT for June and prepaid with a CC. The pricing breakdown is not making sense to me. There are 3 adults and 1 child at the holiday pricing. Now the CM happened to give the breakdowns by with tax and tip while I was talking to her. We were charged $164.27. That includes $135.96 for the meal, $8.84 for tax, and $19.47 for gratuity. This makes the included gratuity only 14.32%. I assumed that they would charge an 18% gratuity. Did the CM make an error or is this normal? The $164.27 has already been charged to my CC so she didn't misquote. Any ideas as to why the gratuity is so low? Thanks. It is a minor issue, but it has been bugging me.

I would call back and explain your situation. I doubt that they will recharge your credit card even if the other CM made a mistake; you've already been charged once and it wasn't your fault.

I'm pretty sure it is correct. I'm not sure exactly how it breaks down, but you are paying 18% gratuity on the meal, but not the photo package which is also included in the price.

I forgot about that. I would assume they would not be able to charge you gratuity for the portion of the cost that is not the meal.

Thanks, it never occurred to me that they would exclude the cost of the photos. I just wanted to make sure that I was not unintentionally undertipping.
