Just Curious -- No Moderates for 7-for-4 Deal?

I'm trying to price out the buy-4-get-3 deal for a moderate resort in January or February, but the WDW website won't let me do. It only offers the Fort Wilderness Cabins, Pop Century, WL or AKL, regardless of what dates I try.

Is this package just not available at the moderates? Or have I simply missed the boat and the available rooms are gone?

I think booking online has been acting WACKY the last two days, since 5pm EST, anyway.

I priced moderates several times yesterday online with no problems.

Maybe the system is being updated since guest services just closed?? Just a guess

Might be a wacky deal on the website-you might try calling direct or having your travel agent check it. But it could be the moderates allotted for the deal are already booked. That humongous post about the deal had a lot of posts from people who booked new packages and a lot from people who changed their reservations to take advantage of the deal. I could see that those who were planning to go at the near end of the promotion- in January & February- would waste no time getting their reservations so the available rooms could easily have booked up already.

Has anyone priced out AKL yet? We have been going back and forth about a trip to Disney in March and since this works then, we just might. It is supposed to be a family trip with my parents and my sister and her family which won't be all that fun but heck, it's Disney.

I called for the first week of Jan. and there were no mods available either. I was offered Beach Club, Saratoga or Grand Floridian.

I was able to book Coronado Springs for a week in June with the new special! (I also got a week at the Yacht Club in June!)

I have POR booked for April...I wonder if it's booked full though for the dates you want. It was originally telling me there was nothing available for my dates too...just keep trying. I would imagine people will upgrade.

I have CSR booked at the AP rate. When the deal came out we could have switched to POR but I waited on it for a few hours and it was gone. This is for January. My ap rate ended up being a better deal anyway.

Just book two consecutive 7/4 package from May 21 to June 4.
I had a 14 day + 10 days ticket package at CBR


After all the positive and negative in hotel cost and ticket cost I ended saving 600.00 plus and instead of having tickets for 10 day, I now have tickets for the 14 day

Bottom line is I am pay for 8 day and getting 6 free

I have AKL savannah booked 3/28-4/4 for two adults, one child (age 5) with one-day park hoppers for all three of us @ $2,325.

We were booked at CBR prior to this promo coming out. I called 1st thing Friday morning, and there was no availability at CBR, but we were able to move to PO-R and save around $1000 on 3 rooms, for 10 ppl.

I did not do it online, but called, and booked over the phone.

The first week in January is tough. I tried to book it via phone or online at 6 PM when the deal came out and there were no moderates available. I then went on-line the following morning and found a waterview at CSR, which I booked immediately! No other mods. Ten minutes later, CSR was gone as well.

Today, only Saratoga Springs and Old Key West show up. That's it.

The rooms are going very fast.

When the deal first came out, I could not get CBR pirate room for April spring break. Was offered BC, CR, and several deluxes. I checked online the next morning and was surprised to see CBR pirate room available! So I called and booked it. I'm now trying to modify my dates, so I've been checking the site several times per day and it always shows different availability at different resorts, it seems, so my advice is to keep checking. There may be a lot of people with their ressies on courtesy hold too -- I think you get 2 weeks (?) to make the deposit. There are always people cancelling and changing resorts, so don't give up quite yet.
