Just curious.. How many times did you say "I love you" to anyone today?

I know a lot of folks say it in the morning - when they're bidding someone goodbye - and then again in the evening, when they're going off to bed - or in bed - but how about any other time of the day?

I probably said it a good 15 times today.. Every time I would come in from the screen house to get a cup of coffee or whatever either I would say it to my DH first, or he would say it to me first.. You'd think we hadn't seen each other for days.. LOL :)

I know those words don't come easy for some people - because of the way they were raised - or bad experiences - or they just plain don't feel comfortable verbalizing those feelings..

How about you? Does it come easy and often?

I say it often, especially to my DH and DD. My teenage DS's are not as comfortable with me saying it to them, and especially not with them saying it to me, LOL!

I think I said it 4 times to DD today - this morning when I woke her up, when I dropped her at school, when I picked her up from ballet, and when she went to bed. She and I have a little ritual....when one of us says "I love you" the other will say "I love you more because ______." We make a game out of thinking of creative ways to fill in the blanks. She loves to do this!

DH and I say it almost any time we say goodbye, either in person or on the phone.

zero. I'm gonna say it now. Norah, I loooooove you! lol :p

2 times. Once to my mommy after she took me to the beach and oonce to my little sister.

I tell my kids I love them all day. In the morning when I drop them off at school I tell them. I tell them in the afternoon when we're going over homework. Throughout the afternoon and night when we sit on the couch and watch tv together and snuggle. And when they go to bed I tell them again. Then the 5 million times they get up to go to the bathroom, to get a drink of water, etc. I even tell my SO that at night when I go in to kiss his forehead goodnight;) (that's all that I can get to when he's bundled in his blankie). My kids usually say it back to me. I can't remember the last time my SO told me he loved me.

Not enough :( I think, honestly I say it more to my cats then anyone else. Odd, but they always seem to turn up when I need a pick me up :D

Tell DW it all the time..
DD's probaly once a day..not enough...:(

I'm trying to count...My dh this morning and all 3 times he called me, my mother once and my brother once, I think that would be 6 times

We say it alot. We're a lovey kind of family. :)

Probably about 20 times today, maybe more. MosMom, we have the same kind of families. Isn't it nice?!!

Since my day just began one hour ago about four or five times to DH and DS.

:bounce::wave::bounce:

I left a message on my 14 yr old DS's cellphone before I left for work in the morning (I leave for work at 5:20 AM,)but I wanted to tell him I love him and to have a great first day in high school. I called my Mom up who is in a nursing home and told her I love her. I told my fiance I love him several times today. I find it very easy to say these 3 words since my divorce, don't know why that is  .

Count us in the lovey kind of family. I saw it to my kids all the time, and DH just as often. :) I also say I Love You to my friends quite a bit, as well as my extended family.

My husband used to tell me he loved me about once a day until a couple weeks ago.

My teenage daugther and I say it about once a day. We should say it more often.
My youngest and I say it on a normal basis about 5 times a day. Right now she is telling me she loves me about 2 or three times that.

My family, my dad and sister and step-brother rarely say it. We weren't a huggy family either.
My in-laws are a huggy family, but it always felt weird.

My immediate family, h, and both girls have been a huggy family. Any ole excuse for {{hugs}}. When my girls were little, it was constant.

Having lost both my Mom and Dad quite suddenly, I appreciate being able to say those words....and I say them a LOT! I believe you should tell the people you love that you love them whenever the mood hits ya! I also believe in the importance of a compliment. I used to keep things like, "Wow, her hair looks nice today" or "That was a really sweet thing to do" to myself. Not good. Now I make every effort to voice these things...everybody needs a boost now and then!
