Just curious ~ How long would you wait?

I think we waited about 2 hours for my dd to see her first princess. Watching her in awe over Sleeping Beauty was so worth it.
Aww, I bet it was. :goodvibes The things we do for our kids.

The longest I've ever waited was 4 hours, for the openings of Star Tours and Captain EO...in the 80s  Bless my parents...
Your parents are a lot nicer than mine! Mine would have said, "No way, no how." :rotfl:

Back in the day I'd say maybe 2 hours at most but that was before FP. Now if we go to parks that don't have it we just plain don't wait. I have gotten really spoiled by FP and I just HATE waiting that long in lines. I think NOW the longest I've waited is maybe an hour for TSM since it doesn't have FP but I don't even like doing that. I can tell you I would NEVER wait in those crazy lines though and more than an hour no way!
I agree, with fast pass now I think everyone's tolerance level has gone way down for long lines.
I have little patience for long lines or crowds. I still haven't even been to see World of Color, even though we've gone to DL since it opened and I had a chance to. I just didn't feel like dealing with the crowds. :confused3 I figure it will be there for awhile. I'm sure I have time to see it. ;)

The longest I ever waited was 5+ hours for Space Mountain not long after it opened during my Grad Nite. But it was due to mechanical problems and line cutting. And it also took us on hour to wait in line for food. It was insanely busy that day. I'd never, ever do that again, but it was what you just had to do. Love the logic of teenagers!

Nowdays? Max of 45 minutes. Thankfully my kids would rather ride something else rather than wait.

I had the same experience at my Grad Nite!!!! It was terrible!!! I waited 3 hours for Space Mountain, and I will never do that again. And food?? After Space, we waited for an hour to get food and then couldn't find a table for another 30 minutes or so. It was really not a fun experience :sad2: And they changed the fireworks, and had them correlated to pop music and there were DJs everywhere. It was just NOT Disney, which is what I was told to expect, but apparently I didn't believe that :lmao:

Today, I'd most likely do an hour if I REALLY wanted to ride the ride and there were no FPs left.

Before FP I recall waiting up to 2 hours for certain attractions. Now you couldn't pay me to wait that long especially for those rides with FP as an option. Having said that, I currently will wait 2+ hours for fireworks. :upsidedow

My first time on Splash Mountain was a 3-hour wait at WDW.

Now as an adult, the most I'd wait for any ride is an hour.
