Those are all issues that I'm fine with my teens reading and caring about, however, they don't post in this forumimsorry said:It seems to be that it is all adults. Alot of "adult" topics coming up: infertility, infidelity, health issues, politics, etc.

Miss Jasmine said:I have seen a couple teens, maybe pre-teens around. But I can guarantee you that kids these ages already have seen, heard and said worse than the fun things we do on these boards. I agree that some of the hateful things said on debate-type threads is way worse than a joke about some fruit or vegetables.

imsorry said:OMG Miss J!!! Not the vegetables!! You know they corrupt worse than fruit!
Why did you drag them into it?![]()
I couldn't help myself.

I have long admired your daughters maturity, intellect and compassion. I think Sparx is the perfect example here.dmslush said:My 14 year old dd posts here all the time (Sparx). I do keep an eye out for her. She is willing, ready and able to debate on just about all subjects, lol. She has always been that way. Most people are shocked to find out that she is only 14. Certain subjects, like infertility, hold no interest to her, however she does sympathize with those suffering with it. I really can't think of any particular subject that I would consider off limits to her. When she sees a subject on here that she doesn't get or understand, she just comes and asks me about it. It gives us a great springboard for conversations.
