Just curious.. Are the Tag Fairies still around?

You have funny crumpets. This is what we call crumpets.

Still beats toast! :lmao:

A lovely cup of tea! :goodvibes

I'm really trying to get all excited about this toast thing, but frankly it's just not too thrilling. :rotfl2:

Today seems much like more of a toasted crumpets with strawberries and cream sort of day. I know a great dairy with fresh from the pasture products.;)
We can still toast, but we'll substitute some fancy-schmancy high-falutin toast. :lmao:
As long as we don't tell you know who, I think we'll be OK. :rotfl2:
....'you know who' WHO? popcorn::

I prefer tea and scones.:lovestruc If I knew how to post a picture I'd do so. ::yes::
You and me both, as long as they're good scones. I prefer homemade to commercial bakery scones as many commercially prepared scones can substitute as hammers, hockey pucks or door stops in an emergency.
...those are English muffins....:snooty:
C'mon. You're just upset because they aren't toast.
Mine are soft, warm and fluffly. Nothing like those rock biscuits the US calls scones over there. :upsidedow
Pardon moi! Not everyone in the US is incapable of making good scones. :confused3 I'm quite sure your scones are wonderful. However, my scones are not hard or inedible. They're delicious and made from scratch, just the way my mother and grandmother taught me to make them. My biscuits practically melt in your mouth and are sought after at any function at which they appear. I don't use a biscuit cutter on my scones though, only on the biscuits. Unless I make drop biscuits, and then I don't cut them into shapes. I may try using a biscuit cutter the next time I make scones. :goodvibes
You need to come and have afternoon tea at my place. :thumbsup2
Give me a few days and I'll be right there! :lmao:

You guys are making me hungry, with all this talk of biscuits, scones, and crumpets.

PIO's crumpets are NOT English muffins though. If you flip those things over, they look like pancakes on the other side.

I enjoy them with a little bit of jam and cream cheese. Mmmm.......

You need to come and have afternoon tea at my place. :thumbsup2
