Just closed on BWV resale purchase!!!

DH and I got the best news yesterday, we are finally DVC owners officially !!! Because we bought resale, we still have to wait a few days (at least that's what they told us) to call Disney to get our membership number. The wait is klling me! But I'm excited to be a part of DVC now!

I'm hoping someone can help explain to me what TUG is. I saw this posted on anther thread, people seem to find it useful, but not sure what it is or how to find it/use it. Any help is much appreciated!

Thank you all!! We're very excited. We rented a friend's DVC points to stay at BWV once and just fell in love with the place. We are really looking forward to booking our first stay there on our own points!!

Can anyone share with me how some of you have the BWV DVC thing in your signature line? I would like to add that now!

I just bought BWV resale as well! The waiting for the membership number to be "in the system" was the WORST.

I called once a day a few days after we closed. I guess I was calling around the same time everyday because the third time that I was going to call, I had my DH do it (we work together and I was busy). I heard him say something like, "Yes, that is my wife. Yes, she is very anxious right now and she'll probably be calling you tomorrow as well." Well...needless to say I was mortified. They knew it was me trying to see if we were entered in yet Maybe it worked because 2 days later (I didn't call the next day ) we were!

My first ressie has been made and I am planning my next two!

Okay, so how many days did it take for you to get into their system? I'm dying!! The people we bought through sent us an email a couple days ago saying we would be in the system by May 2nd! Yikes, I can't wait that long! We are heading out for the panama canal cruise on May 9th and I'm trying to plan that AND get my first DVC trip booked for January. DH is running in the WDW 1/2 marathon, so we want to use our points for the first time on that trip. I'm afraid that things will book up fast, and I want to get our request in as early as possible. I know, patience...but its so hard when I'm so excited!

We bought Resell thr TSS and after close took just 12 days for all of our information to FINALLY be available. We got our Member number pretty quick 3-4 days but took the full 12 days for our points to show up in DVC computer. 12 VERY VERY long days

We did get a big packet of stuff in the mail from DVC, so that helps a bit.
