Katholyn, I remember how I felt when I got the news that my mother's breast cancer had metastasized to the liver and lungs. This was over a decade ago.
She had a few good years left after that, and they have made so much progress in the past ten years. I know it it not good news, but I do hope and pray that you will have more of a future than you probably are expecting right now.
The other thing I want to share with you is that my mother NEVER suffered the kind of pain that you hear about with terminal cancer. And it wasn't because she was doped up on pain medicine. The chemo actually did a great job of keeping the cancer in check. It was her heart that finally gave out, but she was in her mid-70s.
You and your dear husband have been and will continue to be in my prayers. I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this and wish that there were more that I could do to help.
