Just cancelled Std View 1 Bdrm at BVW 5/25-5/30/03

Just got off the phone with MS. I just cancelled a Std View 1 bedroom at BVW for 5/25-5/30/03. Hope it makes someone on the wait-list very happy.

I re-booked a 1 bedroom at VWL for the following week. DD4 thought it was too dark last year but she's older now. I am really looking forward to it since DH has never stayed there before and it will be so convenient to the MK.

So, why do I feel so sad? I made the BWV ressies 11 months in advance. But plans change and we had to go the first week of June instead of the last week in May.

It's like having to give up a primo parking space in NYC! Once you get the spot, you never want to move, you think of things to do in the area (that you didn't plan on) in order to keep the spot. But,... eventually you have to give up the parking space... to someone else... because you got to go home sometime. <sniff>

Our next planned trip will be in a GV at OKW in January 2004, so it will be a while before we head home to BWV. Still feels funny not having that covetted standard view ressie ... and too early to reserve the next, next trip.

I'm I being silly?

Well, now that our plans are finally settled, I can start planning our PS's!

Just have fun planning for the 1-bedroom at VWL, it will be a good way to forget about Boardwalk for awhile. That GV at OKW sounds great. I know what you mean though. I want to visit my parents in the Fort Lauderdale area in July, and I am trying to get into a Marriott 2-bedroom through a DVC/II exchange. But I can't seem to get the ressie completed and have been on the wait list for 2-months. I may have to go back to the drawing board. Have fun with your trip in June!
