just canceled 2br Kidani June 7-12

I hope someone can use it. We got totally hosed on snow days this year, so the kids won't get out of school til the following week. I can't find a 2 br anywhere at WDW for a Sun-Thurs stay for the month of June.

Anyway, hopefully our loss is someone's gain.

edk 35, they have 5 days they missed, ugh!! Normally I'd consider pulling them out of school, but our 5th grader has a lot of special events tied to 5th grade "graduation", and I don't want her to miss out. I was really shocked everything 2 br was booked for the rest of June. We're long time OKW owners, and I'm used to people saying "well you should be able to get in at OKW", during peak times when other resorts are booked.

I'm trying to convince dh to go with a 1 br. The member services associate indicated there was some availability there.

OH man...that is not good. Yeah I understand the school activities...don't want to miss that. Well I wish you luck. Are you going to do a waiting list and then also book for a 1 bedroom?? That might work. Secure something and then hopefully the 2br will come through.

I feel your pain- we are going to school until June 23!!! That is almost Fourth of July. I had to cancel our June trip also!!!! Luckily we were able to book in Sept and a friend and I are taking our 4th graders out of school d/t a long weekend. My highschooler won't be able to go - he is bummed but I may sneak in an August weekend with him if DH doesn't put the kibosh (sp?) on it. I need to get the most value out of our APs don't ya think.

And the 1 br at OKW really are pretty roomy. Of course Kidani 1 br would have that 2nd bath and the sleeper chair for someone.

Just curious as I am waitlisted for a 2 br Kidani savannah view of June 6 - 11 I understand about the lack of availability. Other than a few random days it seems as though nothing is available. I don't know how big your family is but have you tried for a 1 BR @ AKV (fits 5.)

Haygan, maybe our loss will be your gain!! We did have Kidani 2 br, standard view from Sunday 6/7- then checking out the following Saturday.

I just called MS today, and was able to get a 1 br at SSR, and am waitlisted for a 2 br at OKW or SSR. The cm said those 2 resorts would be my best chances for scoring the 2br. We still have 3 mths, so anything can happen.
