We spent 5 nights at Disney and then stayed one night at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Went to Universal Island of Adventure the first afternoon/evening and then back in the late morning/afternoon. We loved it! The shuttle from the hotel was easy enough so no driving or parking.
The main reason we went only to IOA was for Harry Potter. Universal did such an awesome job! It is just so awesomely beautiful! I wish they had more in Hogwart's than just the ride. Maybe they will add to it some day. It would be cool if there were stairs that turned! There's just so much more they could do! Frozen Butterbeer is so delicious!
The rest of the park was great too! As a smoker, I was so much happier with Universal's ample designated smoking areas! They did it right! Most of the DSA's were in shaded areas with good seating, plus several had fans and misters! Way to go, Universal!!!
I doubt if I will go back to WDW as I have been there 3 times now, however I do love Epcot. But we will definitely be going back to Universal within the next year for Diagon Alley!! Finally, they will be putting that train to some good use! I always thought they were missing out on a good ride opportunity with that train!
