Just called to get info!!

I just called to get more info sent out to me & I am so excited!! I already got the video & decided to call to get started. I expected to get started over the phone, but she's going to send me even more info in the mail. I can't wait to get it. My rep (Julie) also told me that my use year if I purchase now will be March, in case anyone's wondering. I can't wait to get my stuff inthe mail. I will probably be financing it through them, hope I get approved. Has anyone ever had problems getting approved through them? Thx

I have never heard of anyone not get financed. If you have poor credit, I have heard that they will ask for more money down. If you have good credit, they will ask for as little as 10%. Either way, they have nothing to lose by giving anyone a chance if they put enough down.

Yes, I'll be buying at SSR and just can't wait!! I have the money to put down and my credit's not bad. Just make me nervous when I buy something on credit! I am a loan officer, too- don't understand why I can loan it, but have a hard time borrowing it!! LOL. Thanks for your commetns guys!

Just a quick word of warning--give some careful thought to your Use Year before you commit. After you sign that paperwork, you cannot change it.

A March Use Year would be best if you normally vacation in the months immediately following March (say, March through June). If you normally vacation later in the year, you may want to consider a different UY as you may have trouble banking points if you have to cancel one of your trips with little advance notice.

There have been reports lately of Guides not really explaining the Use Year concept thoroughly, and simply "assigning" whatever year they desire. While they may not currently have all Use Years available at SSR (I believe that at least December and February are sold out), you should still have 3 or 4 months to choose from. I urge you to contact your Guide if you think that March may not be appropriate for you.

You will have no problem getting approved with Disney, they worked with me and I got approved. If you have any doubts just ask them to prequalify you, that is what I did so I would know before I got all excited about buying-and I got approved!
