Just called HOJO and now VERY confused ?

Okay I just called Hojo to try to book some rooms for two trips later in the year (late Aug and early Dec). I was not successful and somewhat confused.
We have never stayed there and are looking forward to it after reading so many great reviews on this site.
I would like to book nights with the Ent. rate and I have the list of dates that these rates are good. (thanks again to this wonderful board!) I am flexible at this point so I can change dates to get the good rates.
I called the local 714 number and was transfered to "reservations". I informed the lady that I wanted to book rooms with the Ent rate and she asked for the code or ##. I don't have the book yet so I don't think I have that code (I'm just realizing as I'm typing that she was probably asking for the SD50 code! )
She looked up my first dates and could only give me rates that were $129 and up and said no discounted rates were coming up - not even AAA.
Does that mean all the good rates are gone already?? Am I really out of luck already? She wasn't very helpful and a little rude so I just said I'd call back later. I didn't even try the Dec dates!
Any suggestions??

What that means is that you were transferred to the general res agents at the 800 number. You weren't speaking with the in-house res agent in the Anaheim HoJo lobby. Call back and make sure you are speaking with an in-house res agent. Specifically, I would make sure you ask for Lorealle. She will be able to help you get the ent. rate you're looking for.

How much is the Entertainment book rate? I just got an email from Entertainment advertising all books at 50% off, so it might be worth getting one for the discount.

Regular rooms are $59 and premium rooms are $74. But bear in mind these rates are for off season dates and sell out quickly. If you know your dates and it's not during busy season(s), call Lorealle right away! I just booked two nights in September myself yesterday . Good luck.

I spoke with Lorealle yesterday and she was awesome! Got the Entertainment rate for our dates in Sept. Five nights, 2 queen, non smoking, Disney view, fridge, and micro for $425 including tax! I requested a top floor because we are early risers. I am thinking there aren't many of us.

You seriously saved my bacon for turning me onto the Entertainment rate. As you know I am trying do it this on the cheaper side and getting a premium room for $74 a night is like a gift!!!!

I too talked to the most fabulous and helpful Lorealle today to make ressies for November I was able to get the $54 ent rate for the first two nights of my stay and the DISboard discount for the other 3
Lorealle was so easy to talk to and exceptionally helpful!

I have already called and cancelled my ressies at Desert Inn & Suites so we are good to go. Now we only have to wait for another 8 months and 6 days or so But who's counting? lolol
