Just called Disney Visa

I have read that it does not include villas or AS suites.
Also from what I ma reading on Dis, they are all booked except for 2 value resorts...this is not good.

I think it was offered they were just booked already when I called. Only value resorts were still available but since you have your trip already booked maybe they'll let you apply it

I hope you are right!! Since a travel agent booked, I have to have them call ugghhh

I just booked All Star Sports, free dining with the upgrade!

I'm going with a girlfriend and our kids and we are so excited.

I originally wanted All Star Movies, but he said he couldn't make it work for Music or Movies. He said I could call back later and try to change it.

I was just able to book the Poly Club Level with Free Dining. I'm wondering if maybe all of the rooms weren't in the system yet.

Got it!!!

The only value we could book was Sports, so we decided to upgrade to a mod. All POFQ and POR standard rooms were booked. Ended up at CSR, which we love. So excited!!

I was able to change my WL reservation from bounce back to free visa dining 1st thing this morning. I'm glad I jumped on it since it seems like they booked up quick. My dates are Sept. 29-Oct 8. Sorry for those that can't get what they wanted.

It seems to me that Disney is limiting the Visa Free Dining offer to resorts and room catagories which are not as popular or book as quickly without an offer/discount which makes sense since FD is offered to fill rooms. Will be interesting to see what is available once the GP offer comes out on March 5th.

No they will actually open up more rooms. They have done this in the past.. The DV deal has a different booking code..

The same thing happened last year.

I would think the offer would be the same. The only differences historically have been the dates in which the offer is valid. Disney visa only provides a few day jump on booking only. The GP offer should be identical to the Disney visa offer. I do agree that they are using this offer to fill the more expensive rooms, because although I was able to book at POR they had no standard rooms available and I called right when the offer was posted on their systems. Those are my dates!
We are currently booked at POP but were just waiting for FD to be released so we can upgrade to POR or POFQ!
Now to wait until Monday....

I am an avid lurker and just wanted to say that I was able to book Animal Kingdom Lodge with the free dining code! I am beyond excited! I am now paying less to stay there than I was to stay at Coronado with no discount!!

FYI- My CM had openings for every resort I asked... and all kinds of room availability.

I only asked for Mod's. And since she had it, I didn't ask for values.

I was able to book but not POR like I wanted. They only had a garden or river room. So we went with CBR in a standard. Either way we got FD and we are going to Disney. Flights are all booked and yeah for 5% back.

I'm so upset right now, already had a reservation at pop for 9/19-9/29 and called about FD, was told only thing available is sports. I don't know what to do, I know it is probably stupid but I already booked our airfare and I really don't want to stay anywhere else. Plus the cost to upgrade to a moderate is even more. Does anyone think Pop will open up? Feeling really down now and I know you guys would understand.
