OK - this is our second trip and we are all excited about it. We are taking my MIL with us - her first trip. We started planning our trip a long time ago but have been so busy that we havne't booked our meals yet (no meal plan). I am going to try calling today but wanted some advice first.
We have decided to go to our favourites and one new place this time. Some of our days are open but I don't want to have sitdown meals all of the time - in part the money and also the time.
We are going to be at WDW Sunday 11-Sun 18. This is my plan - can you share your thoughts and tips for getting a good table etc... even advice to NOT go to one of the places because of the place, the time etc.. And these days and times are all dependent on whether the PS are available.
Sunday: Ohana 6:40
Monday: Princess and Pirates Party - should we book a dinner that day?
Tuesday: Whispering Canyon for dinner - time? The kids want to go to the campfire so it would have to be a good time so we have time to eat and get to the fire with time to spare. Any advice?
Wednesday: Crystal Palace 8am. EVENING - my husband and I thought we would go out for Valentines day. Do we book a meal or not - thought California Grill maybe? Would downtown disney be better?
Thursday: Going to MGM for day/evening. Do we do counter service or is there a benefit to a meal package with the fireworks?
Friday: Epcot for the day. May just do counter service as we go around the different countries. We went to Akurshus for brunch last time.
Saturday: Chef Mickey's - what is the best time for brunch - early or later. We went at 11am last time and it was pretty busy but still really fun.
Sunday: our travel day - not worried about sitdown meals.
Thanks for your tips!
Helen
