I'm unbelievably excited and nobody understands except you fabulous DISers!!!!!

We just extended our family reunion trip in December to include the 4-night Wonder on 12/12!!!!!!!

Better yet---I booked my parents to go with us as a surprise gift!!! Wait until I tell them!! This is SO AWESOME!!!!!!! Suggestions on when to tell the kids!?!?!? They know about everything except the cruise.

Congratulations, how about arranging postcards from a character to the kids saying they are looking forward to seeing them on the cruise ? or another member made a little gift package with a brochure, model of a boat and some other clues on the trip , or how about not telling them until you get your first glimpse of the ship ?? look at the disboard for how to get the postcards

That GREAT!!! Your parents will love it....what a wonderful surprise. Would love to see the look on their faces when they hear the news. The look will be priceless.

How old are your kids? Age may be some sort of factor on when you sould tell them. That and will they be able to keep a secret from your parents until you let them in on it? Were planning a trip in September. Our kids know were going (ages 5-10) but we haven't told them the date. They just know were going sometime this year.

I have read on this board a number of ways on how to "Surprise" people with the trip. Your sure to get a ton of ideas on how to let the cat out of the bag.

My kids will be 10, 8 & 6 by December. I think we need to tell them in the next few weeks, because once the Cruise Passporter is on my bedside table, they'll figure it out!!! LOL! The UG I read whether we have a trip coming up or not, but I know they'll notice a new one!

My parents are currently in Tampa, and will return to their house in Phoenix next week. When they get here for Mother's Day, I'm going to tell them!

Mike---tight knit, sometimes...nuts, no way!!! My siblings aren't doing the cruise, and I'm afraid DH will need it after 10 days with them!!!!! LOL!!!!
