thanks Wayne you have really cheered me up - I am sure a cookie dough sundale in ghirardelli's in DTD will do the trick :thumbsup2

Have you ever had Kitchen sink at Beaches and Cream?

It is way too much for 2 of you. 3 of us couldn't eat it all with a little help from 2 friends with us.

I always have Banana split at Ghirardellis
We also like the funnel cakes fully loaded.
Now I want to go back.

Who cares about a Solero with all that American food to look forward to:rotfl:
I won't even start posting pics of food from Disney cruises or everyone will be hungry.:goodvibes

Never eaten at palos, even after 4 Disney cruises. I know not everyone is the same but I would not eat in an Adult only restaurant when I have a child on the ship, we always eat as a family. Maybe one day, it will be something to go back for in a few years.

I understand what you're saying as we eat as often as possible as a family, including EVERY night at home, but to be honest our boys see it as a time for for them to be "grown up". When we eat at Palo the boys get to eat by themselves and I don't mean at the hotdog stand or at Topsiders but at whatever dining resturant we're rotated to. They have to order off the menu and are expected to behave as if we are there. It's their time for independence :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

As Paul and I very, very rarely go out with out the boys (maybe once a year, if that) we enjoy and really appreciate the "adult" nature of Palo

Its also a totally different scenario having 2 children, I would probably do exactly the same as you in your shoes.
We are the same at home, rarely go out, over a year since last time I think. if we do its for meals with friends who also have a child. But some people like to go out without children we don't, no desire to eat at Palos, if we had then maybe we would.

I absolutely agree, having 2 kids puts a different slant to it. However if your son ever hooked up with other kids of his own age and felt comfortable enough to have dinner with them, either sit down or quick service, I would highly recommend for you and your wife to try Palo for dinner, it really is a lovely experience.
