As long as Air Canada stays afloat I'm a happy camper.

Just booked on AC from Halifax to Orlando for Oct.24th-Oct.31st for $122 each way! With all the fees, taxes and other stuff it came to $392ish which isn't bad at all! I checked for the same flight from Toronto to Orlando on the same dates and it was still $122. Weird, but I definitely am not complaining!

I could have flown Delta from Halifax - Boston - Orlando but it still would have cost $50 more and for some strange reason it isn't as quick. Must be one of 'dem 'dere prop planes from Hali to Boston that takes it so long. "Quick everyone flap together!"

A month ago, everything was stuck at $262 ?? O/W...and we ended up getting it for *less* return

I just confirmed this morning, flying out of Buffalo for $700.80 for 4 of us. It is alot cheaper flying out of Buffalo then Toronto.

It was on Southwest Airlines and sorry it is US but that is still only about $1000 Canadian

We also booked with AC for next April YHZ to MCO> I waied a little longger than you and got hit with hight Nav Can charges. Still, $404.00 is better than $567.00, wiht his what we paid this year. Can hardly wait. Where do you get the Vacation counter?

We also booked my mom and dad - out of Saint John - for $428 base fare...with taxes, it comes to over $500...but still happy!!

The best deals out of Fredricton are still on Delta via Canadair Regional Jet (a nice plane) to Boston, and then on Delta's magnificent Song subsidiary (TV consoles at every leather seat!). Plus, Delta is still a bit more solvent that Air Canada. Even if Delta does go into chapter 11 bankrupcy, it will only be as a means to force concessions on their highly paid pilots (all the other unions have made concessions), and Delta will emerge from bankruptcy.
Whether Air Canada reemerges from bankrupcy is a whole different can of worms tho. It looks like Air Canada might do nearly as well as Delta price-wise, tho you might need to fly out of St John.

But if and when Delta goes into bankrupcy, that will be the time they will offer some deals, so watch carefully (they might also offer sweet deals as they are preparing to emerge from chapter 11).
