I called this morning sand was able to get w studio at the grand Californian for 6 nights mid September. the week I wanted wasn't available (11th thru 16th) but I was able to get the following week even though I'm a few days past the 7 mo mark. Now I just have to start researching dlr! Ive only been once for a few hours when i was at a tradeshow in Anaheim 10 years ago!:cool1:

You'll love the Villas! We stayed there last summer for one night! It was our first visit after becoming members and we were already staying at the Disneyland Hotel for 6 nights. It convinced my husband that we had made a good purchase!

Have a great time researching!

We got a studio at 6 months out for 5 nights in June. We stayed 5 nights last year also. They have a really nice pool area and the loungers are the best. Walking to both parks and DTD is quick and easy

We are hoping to get 3 nights at GCV in mid-December. Crossing our fingers that we will be able to get ressies at the 7 month mark. Hope I have as much luck as you and a little sprinkle of pixie dust wouldn't hurt either ;)

Enjoy! :)

Congrats! :thumbsup2 We simply adore VGC and DLR! It is a completely different experience than WDW but we love it just as much. In fact we have gone to switching our trip out every other year from DLR to WDW. In CA you can get a Disney fix and then there is the whole rest of the state to explore!

If you go over to the DLR portion of the boards you will get all the information you need. We had requested high floor, theme park view for our stay last July and got it. We overlooked Paradise Pier it was awesome! As others said walking to both park is the best perk. Especially DCA. We would walk past our room and point to it. The kids loved that. :goodvibes

Have a magical vacation! :cool1:
