Just booked the Royal Assante Suite at AKL!!

Our family LOVED the Royal Asante Suite! The second bedroom is way down a long hallway (interior). You'll have complete privacy in the master bedroom. I loved soaking in the tub and turning the shades just enough to peek out at the animals in the savannah while not giving a peep show. KWIM? You'll have a full size fridge, but they don't stock drinks in them like some other resorts do. I'm hoping they've changed that, but I don't think they have.

Joey in the lounge and all the folks in IPO are sweethearts. They ALWAYS take care of us when we're visiting. DO book one of either sunrise or sunset safari. They are definitely worth it. We'll probably repeat sunrise because we liked it so much.

P.S. - Don't forget to ring the doorbell at least once.

Of course, you've only succeeded in making the next six months go by just that much more slowly! And I will be sure to ring the doorbell, probably more than once. Also, after perusing your pics, I discovered that I will get to experience something else I never have before--a bidet. Righteous!

Alright that was just too much information! I know we're like a DIS family, but that's just more of a contribution than I needed.

We are giddy with excitement over an AKL stay with a pool view room. I can't imagine how we'd be if we were getting this for a night!

I must warn you that staying in a suite will completely spoil you. One night is not enough. I was lucky enough to have spent 4 nights in it. I'm okay with staying non-concierge, but if we ever have another special trip like that one then I'll be booking a suite again (unless I'm a DVC owner - they have units w/concierge).

DO order room service to be served on your balcony at least once. You won't regret it. Ok, ok - I think I can shut up about the "to do's" now.
