I was struggling with whether or not to brave the crowds between
12/25-12/31. I called yesterday and asked about availabilityat W/L fotr those dates and was told it was booked (again) Just for the heck of it I asked about the Poly and was told they had it available for 198.00 nt. inclucing room tax. So I went ahead and booked it! It seems like I've been able to get discounts every time we've been back to WDW since then except the Poly. I'm curious to know if anyone else has stayed there during this time of year and if they had it decked out pretty good for Christmas?
This was the first place we ever stayed at WDW around 12 years ago. My son and daughter were 7 and 4 back then. I'm really looking forward to that wave of nostalgia my Wife and I are sure to feel staying at the resort with them now. This is probably the last trip we will all take together where the might actually pay attention to what I tell them;)

Gosh you are so lucky. I wanted to take my DD and we planned the trip for a break from college but she still can't go. College is a pain in the neck. Have a great trip and enjoy your kids.

How did you get such great rates? Did you have a discount of some sort?

Ashley 24,
We got that same of $198.00 including the tax, booking under source code CKO. I believe you can still book under this code until September 23.:D

My family wants to stay at AKL and the Polynesian. I have a passholder's rate for AKL starting on the 19th of December. I want to spend Xmas morning there. So now I am thinking I should call and try to get the polynesian for the 19th to the 22nd and then go over to AKL on the CKO discount eventhough it will be about $20 more a night.

I have my heart set on Xmas morning at AKL, but I would also like to get feedback on the polynesian during xmas.

I used code CKQ, but I wonder if CKO would work also. This was a post card code but the card has no PIN number on it. I told the cast member that and she sounded kind of funny at first but then said she found it and there was no problem.
