I've got a question for those that have done this recently. I just booked this tour. I'm pretty sure I've read that Peter Pan or Wendy is part of the tour. I asked the CM about character interaction and the CM said there isn't any??? Anyone know???

i'D SAY the interaction was HUGE. Even spent a good 15 minutes with both PP and Wendy in a roped off area all to ourselves. Bring your camera for sure and plenty of smiles. We loved it!

That's what I thought I had read before. I wonder if they don't tell you because it's supposed to be a surprise? If there isn't going to be any though, I probably won't pay the $100+ for us to do it.

We also had Peter and Wendy last October - DNeph(8) and DGrD(2) had a blast! They do not 'guarantee' which characters you will meet up with at the end of the tour - I have read reviews of others meeting various characters, but it seems the 'usual' is P & W. They also acted out the story for/with us in the garden area - then they posed for pics with each family group.
After all of that, P & W let only the kids vote on which ride they wanted to ride at the end - the choice was IASW, PP or PhilHM. Fortunately, our group chose IASW and it was an awesome ride to share with P & W - they could sit in the boat amongst ALL of the kids, not just with a few - they talked to the kids all through the long ride - Peter was pointing out hidden Mickeys and telling the kids some little known facts about IASW - it was GREAT FUN ! and (IMHO) the best choice for character interaction on a ride. - Enjoy ! :smooth:

I think that's for the whole storyline purpose, not to expect them and be surprised. No way would most people fork over that money without it!

There's a link to our tour in my videos, if you'd like to see what to expect, but here's a direct link to just that one:

Thanks! I feel so pitiful when I see the sad number of views on my little videos -- it's nice someone liked them! :goodvibes

Thanks I needed a good cry this morning. DD has been in LOVE w/ Peter Pan for over 3 years now. I was booked to take the FMT and it wasn't Peter that day. So I gave our ressies to another family. We'll have to try this year. I think DD would most likely faint if she had all that time w/ Peter. On our last trip she had gotten all wet and ran into Peter. She refused to go see him until she was "beautiful" because after all she is going to marry him. Oh to live the magic through your children!

Great video! I got some software to put with our home videos but haven't used it yet. I think you've inspired me to get to work on all those video tapes!!

Now you have me interested in booking. What time of day is the tour? Is it right as the park opens? The price says 25 per person 3 and up, do they allow a 2 year old to come?

Thank you i really enjoyed the video, I am going to show dh it so i can talk him into booking this for my kids, Do you think an 8, 12 13 yr old would enjoy this?
Thanks Kim

You can check out this one too. This is the Family Magic Tour we went on in Sept of 2005. It is condensed so it basically just shows the highlights. DS had an absolute blast and pretty much had the characters to himself. The other kids were just so shy.

Family Magic Tour

We booked our tour for December 22. The tour starts at 10:00 in the garden to the side of City Hall. We were told to be there between 9:30 and 9:45 to check in. You'll get 15% off the tour if you use your Disney VISA. From posts I read on other boards and reviews, I think kids of all ages should enjoy this tour--everyone was ranting and raving about feeling so special with a character riding on a ride with them. Absolutely can't wait to see for myself!

OP- what day did you book? We are booked for 5/19....:)
I tried for the 19th, but it was already full. :guilty: That's the day we really wanted. I'll keep checking though. So, for now we're booked for the 16th.

I think they would as a sibling of an older child. The littlest girl you see in our group was just 3 and had a grand time.

Thanks for these reviews! we are booking for our 2007 trip since that is when my Princess will be 3!

:cool1: Thanks so much for sharing....I loved the videos. I booked our Family Magic Tour earlier this week and we will be doing it on dd's 9th b-day so I am hoping it to be extra Magical :wizard:

Thanks for posting the videos.

I just booked this last weekend for our upcoming trip in April. It's a surprise for my kids and my wife....no one knows.....should be fun!
