We took advantage of RCL'S reduced deposit offer and booked the Allure for May 2016! Woohoo! I have been looking at this cruise for some time but wasn't ready to commit but with only a $500 deposit I felt like I had to book. We have been on 3 DCL cruises and can't wait to give Royal a try! I would love to hear how others like or disliked Allure. :goodvibes

No one? I have read Shrek takes on Mickey before but I will read it again and I found a great comparison report on the DCL forum comparing the Allure and the Fantasy. Also found an Allure report from Gambee......great detail in all 3.

The cruise we booked has been the same price for months now even with their "WOW" sales lol but I still think it is a great rate especially when you compare it to the Fantasy prices. We are a family of 4 and booked a boardwalk view balcony for around $3500 for Memorial Day week 2016. Would love to see pictures or hear from anyone that has sailed the Allure.

By the way, when I booked on the phone, the gentleman that I spoke with seemed to think that there is a charge for lunch on Labadee but everything I have read indicates otherwise. Anyone know for sure?

Hi, I am in the same boat (lol). We have done three Disney cruises and loved it! Unfortunately their prices have kind of scared me off. I have my first cruise with Royal in October of next year with a very similar itinerary to Disney (with the exception of castaway cay) and it is almost half the price of Disney! I am really hoping we like it because I already booked a southern Caribbean for 2016!! Their prices seem reasonable compared to Disney and I suspect the vacation will be what we make of it...

As far as everything I have read, I am almost positive the lunch on Labadee is included...just like on Castaway. Have fun..here is to hoping we both will enjoy Royal!!!

There is no charge for the lunch on Labadee but there a charge for most everything else besides lounging on the beach. Enjoy your trip!

Congrats on your booking! Like the pp, lunch should be included. I asked a friend who I knew has been on the allure and labadee, and he said lunch was included.

We haven't sailed on Allure but we did sail on Oasis which is the sister ship a few years ago because I got a great rate for a balcony room. We absolutely loved it! There is so much to do on the ship and it was so beautiful. We sailed out of Ft. Lauderdale. We have sailed RCL numerous times because it is our favorite cruise line. I would definitely sail Oasis or Allure again but I know I will never get it for what we paid last time. I think it was $775 each for a balcony. How do you beat that? :yay: I believe it was a 7 day cruise.
