Just booked our first Discovery Cove adventure!

Hi everyone!

I am beyond excited right now. I just booked a day at Discovery Cove to spend with my 6 year daughter and my mom. Poor DH has to stay home and work this trip.

My mom and I decided since this is a once in a lifetime kind of adventure we rented a cabana to get all the fun extras. Has anyone else had a cabana? Can we bring lunch back to the cabana? Are there cabana attendants that can get you more drinks, etc.?

Also, when I was looking at pictures on the website everyone seems to be wearing matching wetsuit tops. Do you have to wear those? Do you have to wear life jackets when snorkeling or on the lazy river?

Anywhere that is "deep" water (I think basically anything over 5 or 6 feet) ...meaning the river and the reef you do have to have some sort of "flotation device" on. They provide wetsuits, vests made out of wetsuit material, and lifejackets. So yes, you are required to wear one of the three if you are in the reef, river, or doing your dolphin swim.
