Had to share the excitement with you all!

This will be our first disney cruise - 4 nights on the disney wonder 12-16th December 2010 (very early booking I know!), were in a cat 9 with a big window and excellent stateroom reviews. :boat:

Know I would like to transfer my booking to Dreams Unlimited to get the extra stateroom credit- how do I do this?

Also on booking it says our transfers are from airport to port and vice versa - but I will be transfering from hotel to port and vice versa can I chnage this at a later date?

Sorry can't help with your questions, but just wanted to say Excellent News+Happy Planning,it's never too early :thumbsup2 .x.

No I would like to transfer my booking to Dreams Unlimited to get the extra stateroom credit- how do I do this?

If you e-mail Dreams Unlimited they will give you a link to a form to fill out on their site and get the reservation transferred over. I would give you the link but I can't find it now. :sad2:

See this page http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/cruise/index.htm
Near top it says
Already have a reservation booked through Disney Cruise Line?
Email us to see if we can save you money
or apply our current Shipboard Credit!!

Click on the email us and give them the info of what you want, they will get back to you usually within a few hours.
I have Sue Ellen dealing with my account, no problems so far.
We booked thru them, then cruised last Easter and rebooked onboard to get discount and OBC, emailed SueEllen she cancelled our 1st booking but trasferred our original stateroom to new booking, Knew exactly what we were trying to do, applied all discounts and on board credits just how we wanted it.

Can't help with transfers, we always have a car but I would put it all in the email you send they will give you the answer.

congratulations!!! I saw your post on the cruise boards I think!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

You just need to fill in the DU form and they will assign you a travel agent who will email you directly. You will need to give them your DCL booking ref and then they can sort it out.:)

We are also going in Dec 2010 and have transferred our booking to Dreams - our TA there is Tracy and she is very good - I actually like doing everything by email (at least you then have everything in writing - having had several problems with Virgin holidays over the phone last holiday where they kept telling me different costings it makes a pleasant change to have it all in black and white from the offset!!:lmao: )

happy planning - how exciting!!

I'm sure it's going to be a magical cruise for you both , great news on the booking :thumbsup2

Congratulations

I have a warning though - Disney cruise Line is addictive

We did our first (4 nights)for our |Disneymoon in 2000

We thought it was going to be a once in a lifetime

This year we will be going on cruise NO.6 and have No.7 booked for 2010:lmao:

If you contact DCL they will be able to amend your transfer bookings - however DCL does not pick up from all disney hotels- which one are you staying at?

I would also change your transfers before transferring to dreams .

Other tips - make sure DCL know its your honeymoon;)

If you think you would like to book another cruise you can rebook on board and get 10% discount and on board credit - you can book a dummy date and then move it forward;)

look on the Disboards cruiseline cruise threads to find fellow disers on your cruise and lots of advice

Any questions you have feel free to ask and I'm thrilled for you

Have fun planning xx:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Certainly is. We tried a 4 night DCL thinking cruising is not for us, stuck on a ship, what could we possible do for 4 nights?
Now done 4 DCL, 2 RCCL and back on the Magic this August for 7 nights, 4 nighters way too short:goodvibes

Congratulations on booking your first cruise, bet it won't be the last ;) You'll have a ball! Good luck with dreams, we used them a couple of times and they're great! :thumbsup2

Thanks for all your congratulations!!

We dont know where we will be staying yet - far too early! We "think" we will be staying at Coronado Springs the first week - so would be picked up from there and then after the cruise staying at the Yacht Club - but we will have annual passes (get them for free when you have a wdw wedding) so this might all change depending on the discounts! I shall ask dreams once I transfer over - I would actually prefer to be picked up at the Yacht Club if thats possible as I'm hoping to leave one suitcase in their luggage room instead of taking it on the cruise with us? I will check with Dreams there must be a deadline of when I need to decide (hopefully mid 2010!)

I ticked the box on our booking that its our honeymoon - I will check with Dreams thats still on my booking :rolleyes1

I am still really excited :boat: :boat:

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, you can have your excess luggage transferred from / to any Disney hotel. We did this last year, left suitcases at AKL and they were transferred to POR for us.They give you a bag check to hand in at the next resort. You will arrive at your hotel post cruise by about 10 am, so you can put your bags in with your others (ours were in a locked cage ),check in to the hotel then go off to the parks and
come back later when your room will be ready and have them delivered to your room..

How exciting. You must be in a planning frenzy.;) Congratulations, Gemma.:goodvibes

Thanks everyone - not been able to transfer my booking as I keep getting error messages on the Dreams form but they are aware of it and trying to sort it out :thumbsup2
