Anyone eaten there recently? How was it? DH is worried its like a LongJohn Silvers or Captain D's!!!!

Tell him there is NO comparison. In fact, it would be a sin to try and compare the two. We eat there all the time, and enjoy it immensely. It is the only original DTD restaurant that has not been changed or taken over by some chain. And the view is great. Comparing Captain Jack's to Long John Silvers would be like comparing the Labraya tar pits to a 5 star restaurant. There is THAT MUCH of a difference! Chef Mickey's is the best! Kids have a great time interacting with the characters. Each character seems to take their time at your table and gives it such a personal touch. Food selection is great too! Can't wait!!! We will be there for dinner Tues. Oct. 11...anyone else?

WooHoo! We have this ADR'd for our upcoming trip as well. We've never tried their dinner buffet before, but I have heard some great things about it

We always eat there our 1st night! Celebrated my parent's 50th anniversary (mom's choice) there! Willl be there again in less than 1 week, can't wait!

I am happy for you. This is a great place to have dinner. We do this as our "last meal in the World" place on each trip. It is always a very happy but sad meal. Truely a great way to end a vacation.
