Ok, so I just booked a site for Nov 5-10. We are also going 8 days in May, but I thought why not go in Nov and just enjoy Fort!! May also do MVMCP but not sure. Anyway, has anyone camped in Nov? How r temps. Just doing minimal packing.

Whooohooo We are there Oct 23 - Nov 9... Doing the MVMCP for the first time ever.... Never been in Oct/Nov, hoping its warming than Jan/Feb when we normally go!!
We go every November. Usually Thanksgiving week.
The temperatures are usually very nice.
Warm during the day and maybe a sweatshirt at nite.
That being said, you just never know.
The last few years, the temps have gone crazy everywhere.
It was 43 degrees this morning when I woke up. I'm 30 miles west of philly.
november is typically one of the nicest months to be in florida. good temps - 70's / 50's, low humidity, little rain, very few bugs, moderate crowds. occassionally a cold day here & there (at least cold for florida ) but overall, a great choice.
imo, other excellent months here are april & october.
dec, jan, feb, mar = varies. sometimes great weather, sometimes cold &/or rainy - but no snow or ice storms!

Lovebugs are pretty much old hippie flying bugs , they believe in love, peace,
flower power, etc. They look like lighting bugs stuck together but they don't light up.
Generally they don't bother anybody but they do fly around in communal masses and they rebel against human society by throwing themselves in front of moving vehicles thereby making a awful mess of your car.
