I made my reservation for Tusker House lunch buffet (finally!) for 12/13 and got some info from the CM.

The lunch is $27.68 per adult and does NOT include access to the reserved seating at the NEMO show. Sorry I didn't ask about the kid's prices.

I'm not sure if I really want to do this if I'm not getting the reserved seats. That's the whole reason I've been obsessively checking every day to see if I could book a 1p.m. for this restaurant. :confused3

We are also booked for lunch the same day :thumbsup2 I'm looking forward to it. We had Chef Mickeys booked for that evening but really weren't looking forward to the food. Now we get the characters and yummy lunch.

The thing is, i've been to nemo twice and both times there werent any problems finding a seat. I really dont think the reserved seating is a big deal. Do they reserve the first few front rows for you? If so, I think the seats right behind the aisle way going across is better because then you can see all of the characters when they come into the aisles. Cause they do a few scenes there.

I just booked it as well. I'm thrilled to see a lunch there. We love the safari breakfast interaction but I get tired of breakfasts. I've always wanted to do a lunch there but never do since there were no characters. This has made me a happy lady today.

Also worth noting... you need to call to make them at this point.

The price increases for "holiday pricing" on 12/16 to 31.94 including tax for adults. I was surprised to find out the buffet holiday prices appear to have moved up a bit sooner. I was hoping I would have the lower prices for at least part of my stay, but nope.:charac2:

I agree 100%.

I don't know which seats are in the reserved section. I was looking forward to being able to skip the wait to get into the show. I haven't seen it in awhile. Are they still attracting crowds and long lines for this?

If you're expecting characters for a LUNCH reservation, you will be disappointed. The characters are only at Tusker for BREAKFAST.

Actually, beginning December 4 Tusker House LUNCH will also include characters, FYI ;)

i searched for the announcement and can't find- which characters are going to be there? Same as bfast? I am kind of disappointed as i love the lunch buffet and now with an increased cost....

I don't know which seats are in the reserved section. >>>Im pretty sure its the very front rows/section that is reserved. In that case, I really dont think those seats are the best in the house. I only say that cause I dont wanna miss out on whats going on in the aisles. If you like to be up close at the very front, then maybe these are the seats for you! ;) I was looking forward to being able to skip the wait to get into the show. I haven't seen it in awhile. Are they still attracting crowds and long lines for this? >>Twice i've never had problems going in to watch the show. Both times I wasnt in a line up to get in.

:goodvibes

Do you know when the lunch does not include the reserved seating? We have an ADR for early Nov and when I made the ADR it said it did include the reserved seating. It sounds like we don't really need it though? We've never been to Tusker House or seen Nemo.

When they change to the character lunch Dec 4th they will no longer offer the reserved seating.
