Just booked my Portofino stay!!!!

I can't wait! It's been too long since we've been back. Now I have a question.

In the past I have made the reservation using my husbands Lowes number. I never know if he'll be able to come on vacation with us or if he'll only be able to come for a few days. The last time we stayed at PBH he was able to fly down for the last two or three days of our stay.

The woman that took the reservation said he will need to be there in order to use the Lowes number. Is this true? I've never had a problem using any of his rewards cards for other hotels. Was she correct or am I misunderstanding something?

You did not misunderstand,he is supposed to be there, but you mentioned you were there before, and your husband flew down later.
Did they credit you for your stay ?

I guess the did credit the account. Honestly, I thought the account had become inactive because it's been a while (maybe 4 years) since it was used. Again, I always book rooms and use his hotel rewards number, even if he won't be there. We get credit for the hotel stays. Anyway, can he just have my name added to his account? It seems kind of silly that a family would need two different account numbers.
