Just booked my first stay at the Boardwalk!!!!!

We stayed at the BWI 2 years ago and absolutely loved it! The feel of the resort is amazing, without being too overbearing. We also booked a standard room, and we had a great top floor view of the eiffel tower and fireworks. I think he actually enjoyed this view just as much, if not even more, than we would have a water view room. The resort has such a cozy, warm feeling to it- it's a great place to be after a long day in the parks. Enjoy!!

I am soooo happy for you! Don't be too disappointed that it's a standard view, tho'. Here is the view from our standard room when we went in 2005. As you can see, it was just lovely. Congrats!!!

We stayed at BWV this past December trip. It was adults only so we loved it. I'm not sure that my girls would have enjoyed it as much as my mother and I. It was so relaxing. Our last day we went to the parks in the morning and came back and just relaxed on the boardwalk until our ME arrived. The atmosphere seemed to be much calmer than some of the other resorts we've stayed. I didn't see the entertainment on the Boardwalk the 4 days we were there though. Maybe we would be getting back too late to see it, so I can't comment on that.
