Thanks to all of the wonderful information on these boards, I learned about Southwest Ding! alerts. I got a Ding! today for $69 from Raleigh to Orlando 
and after a rough week at work and more snow in the forecast I decided to take them up on that deal and booked a quick trip in March. 
I had hoped for something closer to home (RDU is about 3 hours away from me), but the prices were way more than what I wanted to pay. But, at least now I don't need a rental car and can use ME.
Does anyone know the status of the testing SW was doing with the resort checkin? Has anything changed or do we still take our bags with us when we depart for the airport for the trip home?
