Just made my first JB flights from Hartford to Orlando - I decided not to wait for Southwest to open up for my dates of 11/27-12/3/10. Sure hope I didn't make a mistake by not waiting, but my times down/back work great for us and I ended up paying about $260 each r/t for non-stop flights. I told myself I'd be happy with $250 on SW, but then I'd pay the $10 for the EBCI on the return flight so it's really the same. Also, SW had changed so only a couple non-stop flights-none first thing in AM.
IF for some reason I do see the fares have dropped on my JB flights, can I call do get a credit? Do they give credit if fares drop? Or would I still have to pay the $100 change fee?
I'm thrilled to have a TV to watch, one free checked bag, as well as having an assigned seat #. They usually don't change seat #'s, do they? Is that something I need to keep checking on - like Delta who always managed to lose our seat assignments?
