Just booked MCO Hyatt on Hotwire for $24!!!

Thanks! I got the Hyatt for 12/17 for $26 a night.

I think the Hyatt has released rooms for the wrong amount, but thier loss is our gain. This is a really nice hotel!!!

My last room there did have two beds so I plan to call and ask for that again.

Also, if you call immediately they may not have you in the system. It sometimes takes a little while for your actual info to transfer over. All they show at first is that Hotwire took a room

OK, I just booked one of these rooms for the night before our Sept. 2004 cruise. I have never used a service like this, but that price was unreal!

We need two beds too, so I guess I will call tomorrow and ask them to put that on our reservation. Thanks for the info!

Thanks,
Never used Hotwire before and was a little nervous.....
but got 2 rooms @$25 each for Aug 27th....

Thanks!

I'm confused - why would you need a shuttle? Isn't this hotel located in the airport?

Sound like an outstanding deal. I just need my DH to commit to the trip before I book. We already booked the cruise when we were on the Magic last year. But he's waffling on whether we should go.

Just checked Hotwire and I can't find that rate or hotel amenities.

I think I'm a little too late, I looked for 2 rooms for 4/16/04 and the price was $54. I guess I'll keep looking. But congratulations to all those who got the great rate.

DARN.... waited too long. It is gone. Must of been error. I couldn't even find the $55 a night rate either. There was one room 3 1/2 stars but it only showed Food, Pool & Fitness center.

Northwood -- You want a hotel that DOES NOT show the shuttle icon otherwise, it would not be the Hyatt. Make sense.

Just curious, where is this hotel located? Does anyone have a link to their website?

Thanks! :D

It's my understandint it is connected to the airport or just a short walk from there.

Okay... some details about this hotel.

Yes, it is located inside the airport. It's just outside the secured area for Gates 60-99.

If you're arriving on AeroMexico, AirTran, British Airways, Delta, Delta Connection, IcelandAir, JetBlue, MartinAir, Midwest Airlines, Song, Southwest, Spirit, Sun Country, or Virgin Atlantic, you'll take a shuttle to the main terminal and the hotel is right there!!!.

If you're on any other airline, you'll have to take a few moving sidewalks, but you'll be there in just a couple minutes.

There is no need for a shuttle. The reason there was some discussion about whether there was a shuttle icon is that any other hotel in the Orlando Airport region would require a shuttle. The lack of a shuttle icon is a giveaway that this might be the Hyatt.

Here is a link for the property (also listed in the post above)

Thanks for the info Dave! We fly ATA, so it sounds like we can just walk to it, right?

It is always fun to try something 'new' on each trip. This time, we get to try this Hyatt that I have read so much about on these boards!

:earseek:I couldn't believe the price, just checked out the website for the Hyatt and just wanted to see what the room would have been for the same night, it was $144.00!! Glad I got the room last night.

I just tried for our trip in July and nothing close to what you all got was offered. Oh well I'll keep trying.

I missed the great rate yesterday, but am looking at Hotwire right now and there is a 3 1/2 * hotel with the following amenities: food, pool, fitness center - no shuttle listed for $60. However, there is no business center or tennis listed, as a previous poster indicated that the Hyatt had. Do you think this is the Hyatt? Can anyone think of another hotel this could be?

Thanks......

That one was showing awhile ago when I checked it. Last night when I booked all the amenities you listed were showing. I haven't used hotwire before so I'm not sure but I think all of them will be shown if it is the Hyatt.

that hotel is the sheraton suites, i made the mistake of not double checking the icons and booked a room, it is not the hyatt

Oh thanks for the info. We are arriving at the airport pretty late the night before our cruise and really want to stay at the Hyatt. I'll definitely keep checking though. So far the lowest price I've found for the night I need (since I missed last night's great deal of $24) is $144.

Thanks for the information. I was wondering the same thing.

And, for anyone interested you can get the AAA rate at the Hyatt for $134. I know, it isn't the lowest but it is better than $144. I am still holding out for a drop in rate from Hotwire. I knew, I should have booked last night.... Sigh....

Maybe it's a late night thing like sometimes they will run airline specials late and then the next morning they are gone. I'd keep checking maybe they will run it again.

Don't know if any of you are American Express Membership Rewards users, I redeemed membership rewards points and got our room at no cost. Just an idea.:earsgirl:
