Thank you to all the people who have posted glowing reviews of the HoJo

We've always stayed onsite in spite of the big price tag (even w/the AP nights rates). For our upcoming Oct. trip I went ahead and booked a kids' suite at HoJo and although we're not there yet, I can already tell it's going to be awesome  OMG, what will we do with all the extra space, what with 2 bedrooms, 2 flat screen TVs and 2 bathrooms? :cloud9:

Thanks again everyone for steering us in the new direction :flower3:

Oh, you will LOVE it!!!!!! :) We are there this weekend. :)

I'm so looking forward to hearing about your stay! I know you were already going to be giving us a report, but if you happen to go by Mimi's or some other place early in the morning, I'd love to hear about the easiest locations for breakfast coming from HOJOs. The Kid Suite refridgerators looked like they were pretty good size, so maybe that's the best bet, but it's always fun to have a muffin morning, too.

Well we stay at the HoJo a lot!!! We love breakfast at Mimi's, so good! And if you sign up about a week before your trip you will get a free breakfast coupon, just go to mimis.com to sign up. :) IHOP is close but it's way too $$$$$, you would spend less if you ate inside the park. Really for breakfast outside the park, Mimi's is our choice. Millie's has some good breakfasts too, a little less than Mimi's and not quite as huge, but good nonetheless.

I'll be sure to post when we get home...I'm really excited to stay there, because the accommodations look great and the $$ savings are huge compared to onsite :)

We're going this weekend and I got HoJO Saturday night for Entertainment rate. It's my first time staying there. We usually go just for the day, but I figured since they added more dates I'd try for it.

Just wanted to make a small correction......The website is mimiscafe.com :-)

I've just booked a kids suite too, but for July 2010! :rotfl2: Well, I am a little obsessive with the planning and haven't even booked our flights yet, lol, but these kid suites are such a bargain and so brilliant I thought I'd book it now, so we didn't miss out. :rotfl:

I'm with you...I just booked our hojo kids suite for June 2010:lmao: and my kids suite in San Diego(Comfort Inn seaworld) I'm so excited Half the fun of the vacation is the year before planning it!!!!! We are keeping it a secret from the kids and that is kinda hard... but fun!

Just back from Saturday night at HOJO. We had standard 2 queens. What's the difference between standard and deluxe? The beds were great. We were on the inside of building 1 so had no freeway noise, besides the air conditioner drowned out everything. That was the only downside--it was somewhat loud. We're already looking into booking for November.

Hi there! What is ET rate and how do you get ET rates? Are they really good?

Hope these are not sillly questions.

The ET rate is the "Entertainment Rate" from the Entertainment Card/Book. You don't have to have the card to book the rate, but you must show it at check in. Here's the link to HOJOs site with when the rates are available.

I'm anxiously looking forward to rates for April to be posted!!!
