Hi again all!!!:thumbsup2

So excited - we have just booked our flights for October next year and we are bringing our best friends with us!!!:cool1::cool1:

Unfortunately due to financial limitations we have had to rule out our planned Universal hotel stay and just stick to our Disney timeshare.:guilty: So.... having had the wonderful luxury of walking to the parks and FOTL for our past two trips we are having to squeeze in two full day trips from WDW!:scared1:;)

We haven't visited in October for several years now, so I just was wondering when is the best time of the month to visit UO?? - I am guessing the further away from Halloween the better, but are there any US holidays that month that I should avoid??:confused3

We are flying in on Wed Oct 10th and leave on Thurs Oct 25th. Would you avoid weekends (or actually didn't I hear that sundays are a good day for WWOHP??) And how do you do two days - do you do two back to back or split them throughout your trip??

As I've said before, Kai (DS8) is a HUGE HP fan, so regardless of the lack of FOTL we will not be able to miss ANY of WWOHP!!:goodvibes - and will probably go both days several times!!:lmao: - I was thinking of choosing the two (fingers crossed!;)) quietest days and then going straight to HP and then one day visiting the rest of IOA before returning late afternoon to WWOHP and the other day doing the same, but hopping to Universal for the bulk of the day - does that sound like a plan??:thumbsup2

Many thanks for any advice as usual!!:lovestruc

The month of October belongs to Halloween Horror Nights at the Studios and the park will close early on those nights. The day crowds won't be affected too much except towards the afternoons. HHN is staged Thursday through Sunday nights but again it's only at the Studios. If you want to avoid the heavier afternoon crowds, stay away from Friday and Saturday.
