Just booked for Easter weekend!

Hi,
I've never been to DL for Easter and I am so excited to say that we just made our reservations for Easter! So, I'm looking for any tips or tricks for DL/CA for Easter. Does anyone have any experience or details to offer about fun activities ( like an egg hunt) that we should be sure to check out? Any "Can't miss" activities? Best character meal that time of year?

I will be there with my husband, daughter (8), and my brother. It also happens to be the second anniversary of my father's sudden passing, so we want to make it extra special for my daughter.

We will be staying at the Best Western Park Place Inn.

You will have a great time! We were there for Easter this year for the first time. We actually felt the crowds were lighter than expected but 2015 is the anniversary year so I would expect bigger crowds. There is an egg hunt of sorts they did. Basically you got a map with locations of eggs in the parks. You had to find them. They were beautifully painted with character faces and about the size of a soccer ball and out of reach. They were just to find. The map was available for purchase that included a gift at the end but they had already ran out by easter and the CM were just handing out photo copies of the map. It was still fun. There was also a Spring Roundup meet and greet in the Jamboree area that was fun! You could meet all the Disney bunnies. We met Thumper, Roger Rabbit, White Rabbit, and Brer rabbit. So fun!
