Just Booked for Christmas/Interesting Best Rate info

Just booked for Christmas season Dec 23-30 at All Star Sports. Would rather stay at any other value but at $77.97 (tax included) who cares. Figured out the trip -$59.91 per person per day for flight, room and car rental, NOT BAD for Christmas season if I do say so myself. This is even cheaper than a few years ago when we booked a Christmas trip while we were at the resort and got 40% off. Two interesting things about the best rate. #1 if you are going to go, book now before they are full. I have been checking the last couple of days and in that time All Star Movies and Music filled up or the price went up. example room for Music went from $77.97 to $91.53 per night and then was unavailable. My fault for waiting so long to book. And, I cannot find anything for Dec 27-31, Jan 1 or Jan 2. I even had a hard time finding anything at rack rate. #2 Everyone knows that there is a one night non-refundable booking fee for the room reservations and I have seen posts on it before. While booking, one of the pages titled PASSHOLDERS talks of applying deposit in the amount shown. Then it says, In order to receive a full refund of your deposit, notification of cancellation must be received at least 6 days prior to your arrival date. I dont know if this has been discussed before and if so disregard, but I love to argue on the phone and I this point would certainly be worth arguing over if I had to cancel my reservation, especially if I was staying at an expensive room. Now next obstacle to overcome are the dining reservations. Hope the new policy on them makes it easier.
