Well we are now booked for an Eastern Disney Cruise for April 5-12 2003! Can't wait, now I just need to plan what I want to do on this cruise. We have 4 children ages 3,6,11. and 13. I really want to do the Surial Bath with dh, and watch the sun set a couple of times But I guess I will miss that because we will be having dinner at 6:00. But I wanted to know if anyone else would be cruising during this time??

Hi Wendy,

We are taking our second cruise on 4/5/03 - DH40, myself 38, DS 12 (will most likely go to teen club as less than 1 month to birthday) and DD 10.

DH and I will definitely schedule the Surial - in fact, we took the first appointment on one of the days at sea on our last cruise - great way to start the day!

We have early seating also. Be sure to add your name to the cruise list - see the thread at the top of the board for the link! We have a secret porthole room for the cruise!

Hi Kendall and Wenpop,

Great you are DCL - cruising in 2003.

We are considering of cruising in january 2003.

Did you book your cruise through a TA or through Disney ?

What price did you got ?

Have fun !

Well, I checked around and found 2 different prices. The best price was from Dreams, it was $5400 if you call that good, It's going to be hard to come up with that much of money, but I'm going to try. Disney gave me a price of $5600. My dh thinks I"m crazy, but he likes to make me happy, so we will see if we can get enough money saved up to pay for this trip by Feb. Wish me luck!!!

Hi Wendy,

We are cruising in March and I'm with on trying to figure out how to save all that money before the final paymnet date. I figured out is it only $191 per week from now until Jan 21st! Don't know if I can do it - but I am going to try:D

Can I ask what category stateroom you booked? Did you get two rooms for your family?

Maybe we should start a thread "How to save for your Disney Cruise" and challenge each other to reach our goals. Kinda like a 12-step program to affording the cruise :)

We will be getting off of the boat as you are about ready to get on:( We are cruising the week before you with DH, DS(6) DS(11mths). We are also working very hard to save up the money in short amount of time since our cruise is only 8.5 months away. One thing is for sure....this trip will help us keep under control for Christmas. Hope you have a great time:)

We have 2 cat 10 cabins for our family of 6 that connect.
And I would love some ideas to save up enough money to pay for this trip. We looked into other cruises and they run between 3600 to 4200 anyway so if we want to go on a cruise we are going to spend alot of money anyway, might as well be for a Disney Cruise.

]Maybe our kids can talk and meet in the clubs so they will have one friend on the ship.

Can't wait to try it out, this will be our first cruise and first Spa experience.
