and I have some questions. I kinda decided last minutre that I wanted to go to WDW this Dec, I figured why not I can do that now I have the points. So I called MS and of course OKW and SSR were the only resorts left. I picked OKW because it is my intention to try all the resorts in WDW before I die and I've never been there. So my questions are, what is the weather usually like there in Dec, will we be able to use the pool or the water park. Is there a food court type area to pick "fast food"? Do they have bed rails for the second bed in the studio? Also if anyone has Christmas pics of OKW I would love to see them. I think that is enough, TIA for any answers you can give me

Might get in the 40ties at night, 60 to 70 during the afternoon. Pools are heated. I's a great time to go, mid Dec lowest crowds of the year.

Thank you. The one time we visited WDW during Dec it was in the 90's. It was very hot! I don't want it to be too hot becuase I'll have a two month old.

no food court area, but they have a restaurant on property called Olivias which is pretty good. They have a pool side area that also has hamburgers and snack type stuff.

I book my first trip as a DVCer myself just the other week, got my confirmation letter yesterday. OKW as well (been there many times and love it)

Anyone know about rails for the beds, or have pictures of OKW at Christmas. Thank you for your help so far.

weather for Dec is hard to predict.

been there when the high was in the 40's - also been when the high is 80's...

low can be in the 30's to 60's....

our first Dec trip the temperature started out in the 60's - we wore clothes accordingly - but we notice a bunch of people with shorts on - they did wear a jacket.... found out why... about 11 am it was so hot we had to leave and change clothes...

so just about anything can happen in Dec.

on another trip - it was 40's one night - but the next day it was in the 80's....

so wait until your almost last day to go to weather.com or whatever you use for the weather forecast and bring clothes for summer and winter - it can be both or either....

I LOVE DEC - it is one of the best times - everything is decorated and so lovely.
